Do you want to explore the highest active volcano in Europe? Etna Trekking to the Crateri Sommitali at 3300 meters will take you to the roof of Sicily, where you can admire breathtaking landscapes and where the volcano will be able to transmit all its energy to you.

We will meet in front of the Etna Cable Car ticket office, adjacent to the Rifugio Sapienza at an altitude of 1900 meters, for a brief initial briefing.

Before leaving, you will purchase tickets for the Cable Car and the 4x4s – extra payment to be made on site – that will take you, up to the summit area at 2900 meters.

Among sands and lava flows you will reach the summit area making a stop at the Central Crater or at the Bocca Nuova. It will then be the turn of the Barbagallo Craters, from where you will continue Etna Trekking towards the Valle del Bove wall: in front of your eyes will open the enchanting image of an immense valley formed by the collapse of a series of ancient eruptive centers, enjoying an exciting spectacle!
